619 Muscle rocks the Border States!
Congratulations Team!
Here is our final brag book!
Dena Gunnoe - 1st place and overall, master's Figure - (finally got that #1~congrats!)
Dena Gunnoe - 1st place open Figure "B"
Molly Goodwin - 1st place open Figure "A" (go shortie! YOU'VE come a long way, and more is coming!)
Luc Andreotti - 4th lightheavies - Luc's symmetry and shape shown brightly tonight as this rising star warms up for the Excalibur - go Luc!
Eric Raposa - 2nd place, open men's lightweight - Eric arguably should have taken the top spot here tonight - he was conditioned, full, vascular - and had it not been for the shape and lines of the softer athlete who took the #1 spot, Eric would be carrying home the #1 statue from this show - but he's a champ - and his spot on condition will keep him placing well as he gears up for the Excalibur.
Welcome to the NPC stage to 3 of our hungry new athletes! Erin Doherty, Kristy Krasja and Brenda Vidrio - all braved entry into the brutal world of physique competition, donned the clear heels and sparkly suits, and strutted their stuff on behalf of our Team! Welcome to the family, girls! It'll only get better!
OK, for those of you who need any help with your prep for the Excalibur and beyond, please just give us a call! Meriza's next posing clinic for Figure is going to be on November 22nd, Saturday, at World gym - an absolute must if you've seen the way the judges are willing to forgive physique flaws if you've got a winning stage presence!
Join us and develop yours!
A very warm thank you to Jon Lindsay for some rockin' shows this fall - and just wait til the Excalibur - Rumor has it that overall LA champion, Nel Bautista is dusting off her clear shoes to defend her "B" class title at this show - and Ryan Spink, last year's Border States middleweight champion is also doing alot of cardio these days! He's made a bunch of improvements on his lower body, and plans on stomping on stage at the tip-top of the middles this year, shredded and ready! And Luc Andreotti, plans on besting his 4th place at the Borders with a harder, but just as symmetrical physique package...
Our new girls, Brenda and Kristi will also be strutting their stuff in L.A. in 6 weeks!
Stay tuned for more stories of success from the Team!
