ILLIC EST TANTUM VERUM
We call it the Brutal Truth.
When you look at the man in the mirror, what does he really say? It's the long hard look that says it all.
Are you working hard enough?
Are you living up to your potential?
Are you the best you can be?
Are you giving it all you got?
Are you seizing the day, taking all that life has to offer, and making all you can out of it?
Life is rarely easy...and it's not often fair. But in the end, is it where you end up that matters? Or is it how far you have come, from where you started, that defines your path?
Ask yourself what you've done to enrich the lives of those around you, those you see and touch every day...and you know what, I think you may be surprised to see how much you actually impact other people - and know that you are a part of something bigger than just you...
But, without YOU, there is nothing.
Like Rocky said in his last episode, "it's not how hard you hit, but how hard you can get hit and still get up keep moving forward..." Keep getting up...keep getting up...
"Fall-down-get-up" - it's all one word, right?
Don't ever stop reaching for a better you.
Pete

I've always felt that one's character is defined not by how well they are in the good times - but during the hard times. Anyone can be good on a sunny day - but when you are in your worst sorts... when you can pull yourself up out of the darkness and stay positive... THAT is character - great blog post man.
You are absolutely right Papa Pete! I have a hard time understanding why people think about why they should constantly try harder--- the real question is "why not?" After all what's the worst that could happen? You fall down 7 times, get up 8- no biggie. Especially in times like these with the recession, we need a producing element, something to make us work harder every single day and stop allowing ourselves to hold back. Life is a beautiful thing- might as well live it. It's people like you that keep others going! Thanks Pete!
